It was a sad day when I finally saw my wallet tear, one of my favorite journals disintegrate, and my dog Reese’s leash seem to no longer have the will to live. This series of events took me down a long road of researching leather. I grew up hearing and believing that leather should last forever, so why wasn’t the leather items I was using? That’s when I learned that most “leather” as I knew it wasn’t really … well … leather. Most leather in America is either genuine leather (aka fake leather) or leatherette. Both of which can have their use, but they aren’t built for long lasting success. As I started looking for something that lasted me more long term I found quite a bit of interest in the material and saw an opportunity to help my fellow humans find products that should last them far into their future rather than needing to replace common everyday items every couple of months. All the leather items you will find below are crafted using High quality full grain vegetable tanned leather. I source my leather from ethical tannerys that are based right here in the USA.
